RelyOn™ MDC has a unique combination of active oxidizing species, organic acids, inorganic buffers, and surfactants that disinfects on contact and creates biocidal conditions for broad spectrum efficacy against viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Active Ingredients: Oxidized glycoproteins, polypeptides, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates - these react with Sulfhydral and Disulfide groups in nuclear proteins, with stability and activity optimized under acidic conditions. Surfactant: Ensures contact with microorganism, helps solubilize lipids, and helps denature proteins. Organic Acids: Produce low pH without corrosiveness and control oxidizing activity.
