Bio Gardzâ„¢ Scrubs meet OSHA requirements for "Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment." Comfortable, breathable and lightweight, these durable scrubs outlast cotton and cotton/poly scrubs. Unique Bio Gardzâ„¢ microfiber material effectively protects wearer from chemical splash, blood, and fluid strike-through. Due to the inherent abrasion resistance of polyester, Bio Gardzâ„¢ will last at least two to three times longer than standard cotton or poly/cotton garments. Bio Gardzâ„¢ material is made from continuous filaments that minimize linting. The polyester polymer base is inert and is less impacted by laundering chemicals than cotton and poly/cotton. Bio Gardzâ„¢ garments are treated with an advanced broad spectrum antimicrobial agent.

Bio Gardzâ„¢ is treated with an advanced broad spectrum antimicrobial agent. Bio Gardzâ„¢ has been tested for chemical repellency and penetration by Texas Research Institute Austin, Inc., an independent testing laboratory. Testing was conducted using the ISO 6530 Standard against acids, bases, and volatiles. Bio Gardzâ„¢ garmentâ™s fluid resistance has been measured at 27.5cm of water pressure, as opposed to zero resistance exhibited by its cotton counterparts. Average blood strike-through on Bio Gardzâ„¢ fabric is also above average at less than 1% (< 1gm based on impact penetration tests).
