Bio Gardz™ Scrub Tops are available in Unisex (one breast pocket) or Women's (two front waist pockets). Made of special blood-repellent microfiber material. Cool and comfortable. Also available with hook and loop collar and cuff. Bio Gardz™ Scrubs meet OSHA requirements for “Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.” Comfortable, breathable, and lightweight, these durable scrubs outlast cotton and cotton/poly scrubs. Due to the inherent abrasion-resistant properties of polyester, Bio Gardz™ will last at least two to three times longer than standard cotton or poly/cotton garments. Nonlinting: Bio Gardz™ material is made from continuous filaments which minimize linting. The polyester polymer base is inert and is affected to a lesser degree by laundering chemicals than cotton and poly/cotton. Caring for your Bio Gardz™ garment is easy. Machine wash (40° C) and tumble dry (130° C) with optional warm ironing. Important note: Tumble drying reactivates the fluid repellent properties. Care for your garment and it will care for you.

Bio Gardz™ microfiber is... Fluid Repellent: A combination of chemical treatments and physical properties work together to make Bio Gardz™ fluid repellent. While the chemical finish resists blood strike-through and repels fluids, the microfiber weave increases fiber surface and enhances fluid repellency. Unique Bio Gardz™ microfiber material effectively protects wearer from chemical splash, blood, and fluid strike-through. The inside of each Bio Gardz™ garment is “brushed” to increase surface area, which improves airflow and vapor exchange.
