Bio Gardz™ are made of special blood-repellent microfiber material. Cool and comfortable. Meet OSHA requirements for “Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.” Comfortable, breathable, and lightweight, these durable scrubs outlast cotton and cotton/poly scrubs. Bio Gardz™ garments are 2-3 times more durable than traditional clinical apparel and withstand repeated washings without fading, linting, or shrinking. A Bio Gardz™ garment may be laundered, autoclaved and re-used over 100 times. Disposable ferments contribute to environmental waste and may be used only once.

Bio Gardz™ microfiber is... Fluid Repellent: A combination of chemical treatments and physical properties work together to make Bio Gardz™ fluid repellent. While the chemical finish resists blood strike-through and repels fluids, the microfiber weave increases fiber surface and enhances fluid repellency. Unique Bio Gardz™ microfiber material effectively protects wearer from chemical splash, blood, and fluid strike-through. The inside of each Bio Gardz™ garment is “brushed” to increase surface area, which improves airflow and vapor exchange.
